This project involved the full construction of a custom garden shed, designed to provide durable outdoor storage while enhancing the visual appeal of the client’s backyard. Built entirely from treated timber, the shed was tailored to the dimensions and functional needs of the space, offering a blend of practicality and craftsmanship.Salan Construct handled the entire build from the ground up, starting with site preparation and a stable concrete foundation. The frame was constructed using pressure-treated structural wood, assembled with weather-resistant fasteners to ensure long-term durability in changing Dutch weather conditions. The exterior walls and roofing were completed with wooden cladding and waterproof panels, providing both structural protection and an attractive, natural finish.Attention was given to details such as door framing, ventilation, and water run-off, all contributing to the shed’s longevity and ease of use. The roof pitch was adjusted for drainage, and the structure was sealed against moisture and pests.
